NHL 2022 Stanley Cup Odds Update for the Final Conference Semifinals Games

We are down to our final seven teams in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the number is seven because of the four-game sweep by the Tampa Bay Lightning over the Florida Panthers in the second round. There are still three series left in progress, and buckle up because we could be in for a long ride.

New York Rangers vs Carolina Hurricanes

This series is currently going to a game five with the series tied at two apiece. The New York Rangers came back from a 3-1 lead to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round. The Carolina Hurricanes beat the Boston Bruins in seven games in the first round as well. 

Looking at the odds, Carolina has the odds in their favor with the -145 favorite. The Rangers have +125 odds to win two of the next three games. The series moves back to Carolina for game five.

Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Flames

The battle of Alberta has not been much of a battle yet. After a thrilling game one, the series has done a complete 180, and Edmonton has dominated the series. The Oilers lead the series 3-1 over the Flames and have the chance to clinch the series. 

Looking at the odds in the series, Edmonton is the -600 favorite to win the series. We have already seen one 3-1 series lead blown in the playoffs, but will we see another happen? While they are behind the eight-ball, the Flames have +450 odds to come back and win the series.

Colorado Avalanche vs St. Louis Blues

This series has been all over the talk shows, social media, and hockey universe for mainly the wrong reason. After a thrilling first two games, the series took a turn for the worse with Jordan Binnington being hurt on a play by Nazem Kadri. 

The St. Louis Blues had a thrilling victory in game five against the Colorado Avalanche to force a game six. After what we saw in game five, this series is far from over. 

Looking at the series, Colorado has the -800 advantage to win the series in the last two games. The Avalanche have won both games in St. Louis so far in the series. St. Louis has +550 odds to come back and win the series.
