Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints
Does it get any better than the Tom Brady versus Drew Brees duel at least twice this season? We don’t think so! Both Brady and Brees deserve their own rooms at the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. That’s how awesome both have played during their careers.
Not only that, but the Saints and Bucs could have great defenses this season. So, expect Tampa Bay-New Orleans to be one of this year’s top NFL stories.
San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks
It took a 49ers Week 17 victory over Seattle to secure the top seed in the NFC Playoffs as well as homefield advantage. If the Seahawks had beaten the Niners, SF would have had to play the next week in a wildcard game.
This rivalry should mean as much in 2020-2021 as it means in 2019-2020.
Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles
Forget the Giants and D.C. Maroons. Sure, both teams will show flashes, but the NFC East will come down to the Boys and Eagles. Philadelphia believes it’s good enough to get back to the Super Bowl.
With Mike McCarthy taking over for Jason Garrett, the Cowboys think they’ve finally got the necessary pieces to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy. McCarthy should help the Boys take the next step.
The Eagles want to make sure that “next step” doesn’t include an NFC East Division title.
Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings
The NFC North is the epitome of parity. The Packers, Vikings, Bears and Lions believe they can win the division.
There’s no telling how good the Vikings or Packers will be this season, which makes this rivalry even more interesting. Aaron Rodgers is not happy in the green and cheese.
The Vikings are solid on both sides of the football. But, Minnesota may be missing that one thing that gives them the division. We shall see. Expect both games between these two to mean something.
San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals
Like the NFC North, the NFC West is also a parity division. San Francisco is the favorite. Both Seattle and Arizona could challenge the 49ers.
We know how good the Niners are. Arizona got significantly better after trading for DeAndre Hopkins. The former Houston Texans wide receiver is as good if not better than Michael Thomas in New Orleans.
Kyler Murray will love throwing the pigskin to DeAndre. Not only that, but it’s Kenyan Drake’s second season in the desert and Larry Fitzgerald will play opposite Murray. Kyler has no excuses this season.
San Francisco has its hands full with both Seattle and Arizona fighting for the 49ers’ NFC West crown.
