NFL Betting Preview for Dallas Cowboys vs Arizona Cardinals On Aug. 13th
Dallas at vs Arizona – NFL Preseason Game
Why bet on Dallas against Arizona
In their second preseason game, the Cowboys should show more. Dallas played conservatively versus the Steelers. Facing a less effective defense, the Boys should be less conservative. That doesn’t mean Dak Prescott plays. It does mean Garrett Gilbert gets more playing time and the Cowboys hand the ball off to backup RB Tony Pollard more. Those slight changes could lead to a Cowboys victory.

Why bet on Arizona against Dallas
Kliff Kingsbury’s system relies on spread formations and getting the ball to wide receivers and running backs in open spaces. Although almost no skill position Week 1 starters figure to step onto the field, Kingsbury will play one of his top two running backs, either Chase Edmonds or James Conner. Both can dominate a Dallas defense that has yet to gel.

Final Betting Analysis: Dallas Cowboys at Arizona Cardinals
Because Dallas has already played a game, the Cowboys have a slight edge. But Arizona goes at least two deep with their skill players.
In some positions, like wide receiver, the Cardinals go three deep. Arizona starting quarterback Colt McCoy has a ton of experience, including starter experience. Kingsbury won’t play Colt behind the third-team offensive line.
Instead, he’ll let McCoy work behind the first or second unit. McCoy will also run the offense with wide receivers like Christian Kirk and running backs like James Conner on the field. Arizona should have no trouble moving the football, which makes them the play.
