The NASCAR Cup Series: DuraMAX Drydene 400 Presented by RelaDyne will be happening at Dover, Delaware for the 11th race of the 2022 NASCAR season. This race is scheduled for Sunday and the Dover Mile has a chance to provide some normalcy a week after Ross Chastain won on the final lap to win his second win of the season.
Today, we are diving into the NASCAR Odds to figure out which drivers we should be placing a wager on according to betting odds and trying to find some value here.
NASCAR Cup Series Betting Preview for DuraMAX Drydene 400 presented by RelaDyne Race
Kyle Larson (+500)
Kyle Larson is listed as the favorite heading into this race and it makes a lot of sense. He currently is sitting in seventh in the standings and already won a race with five top-five finishes. Driving his Chevrolet car, he has been doing extremely well in the early portion of the season. However, at +500 and as a large favorite compared to the rest of the field.
Larson finished fourth in the Geico 500 and led for 32 laps in there, so it could be a chance for him to get going and win the race entirely. However, with better drivers so far with better odds, I am going to avoid betting on Kyle Larson in this race.
Chase Elliott (+850)
Chase Elliott is currently leading the NASCAR Cup Series heading into this race but has not won a race yet despite having seven top-10 finishes. However, he has a pretty good chance of winning here after a seventh-place finish.
I do not love him being the second-highest odds but with Elliott, who is all but guaranteed to be one of the top drivers in this race, I am willing to sprinkle a little bit onto this wager as +850 is still very favorable odds.
William Byron (+900)
He had a bit of a disappointing race in the Geico 500 as he was 15th, despite leading for 38 laps in the race. However, he is currently looking for his first win of the NASCAR Cup Series and has four top-five finishes as he is attempting to build throughout the season and is projected to be the top seed for the playoffs.
Byron has been dominating as he has led 520 laps throughout the season and has more than 150 laps led than any other driver this year. All in all, go with the +900 odds as this seems like a great chance for him to pick up his third victory of the season.
Alex Bowman (+1000)
Alex Bowman has the fourth-highest odds for this race to end up victorious and is entering this race at fifth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings. Looking at his results from last week, he struggled a bit as he finished ninth without leading a single lap throughout the 188 laps in the event. The odds are nice, but I do not foresee an event where Alex Bowman can take the lead against some better drivers so I would avoid betting on him here.
